MacColl is best remembered for penning the folk standard ‘Dirty Old Town’ and the Grammy-award winning ballad ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’. But his legacy goes far beyond these much-loved songs…
‘Set the Night on Fire’ will tell the story of MacColl’s life and his varied career, with current folk musicians and close family providing new versions of his key works.
